Default eurobet cashier, psychology effect?

Hi,

First off, as many of you guys know, Eurobet has a werid cashier system in which you deposit into the sportsbooks and inorder to play poker, u have to transfer money from the sportsbooks to your poker account. I have a "system" in which I keep a 500 bankroll and whenever I end a session with profit, I transfer that profit into the sportsbooks. So my sportsbook is basically my "profits" account.

I had been playing for a while on Eurobet and using my system continually. Howver I decided to switch over to Empire for a while, but for some reason couldnt seem to win there ( I was always up, den down, and cant seem to keep a profit above my bankroll). So i went back to Eurobet, starting using my "system" and was able to start see profits again.

I dunno why, but my ability to use the transfer "system" on Eurobet seems to have an psychological effect on my profits. I mean, it shouldnt matter where u play, profit is prfoit, and it should be exactly the same right? But for some reason I seem to be able to keep track of my profits better and keep my profits up continally.

Dunno if anyone has any similar experience. If so, maybe u wouldnt mind sharing.

I haven't had a similar experience, but if it persists, perhaps you could just cash out your profits to Neteller or Firepay after each session and use that as your profits account.

Or how's this, just make a spreadsheet and list your profits and bankroll in separate columns to trick yourself into thinking they're in separate accounts.

It's all just stupid little tricks to get yourself to do what you need to do but you do what you have to do, right?

I had a similar experience, but the other way around, I kept gambling on football teams with my poker money in eurobet. I almost convinced myself that I had a system for the virtual football betting...but time proved me wrong on that one...still kept most of my profit tho.

Bingo

PS - the system was to bet the very long shots with the rationale being that the book was made virtually with other punters, but Eurobet would have a slight margin on each betting combination...therefore, Liverpool V Norwich was usually 8/1 norwich, and as long as you bet low enough ($20), you would take the punters money that backed L'pool without effecting Eurobets edge...this is probably complete crap though....I worked 100 up to 3000 one night, lost 1000 in the next 10 nights and quit.

Over the last few months, I've consistently won atat Euro and lost at Empire. I'm pretty sure one of them is rigged...

It sounds basically like a superstition... It sounds like you might have experienced what's known in psychology as a "self-fulfilling prophecy."

Of course, the short term luck factor contributed to this. The real question remains is if you actually played poorly on the other site because of this so-called money management system you made.

Haha, I'm in exactly the same boat. I opened a eurobet account at the beginning of June, and made the RF club on Empire about the same time. Just estimating here but I'd say I'm up about 5k on Eurobet and down about 2k on Empire since that time, and I'm playing the same game+limit on both.
Variance is a bitch.

Got logged about 25k hands on each Party, Empire, and Euro. Up significantly on Party and Euro, down a good bit on Empire. Stats show I seem to play the same on each. Havn't played Empire in awhile b/c of this, even though it's my best rakeback deal. Glad I'm not the only one who can't beat Empire...
