Sounds to me like he's much better than you, if that's the case.

He knows when you're bluffing, and he knows when you're strong. Explain what characteristics make a GOOD player if not those? He can afford to be loose as long as he's up against completely predictable opponents.

I don't think that's always the case. Sometimes a fish gets lucky by not getting any piece of the flops you get, so he never gets to pay you off. I've definetly seen it happen.

The overset is true, that wasn't much of a hand. It's like hitting straight flush vs. higher straight flush, if you were on the other end of the stick, you'd pay off just the same.

The boat to quads was just a [censored] happens hand. I think it just officially made me his bitch. Honestly other than that I have been getting my money in bad against him the mojority of the time.
I am really trying to figure out if he is outplaying me or if he happens to have air when I have a good hand and has a monster when I have air. I have only played with him for a few weeks so Im honestly not sure.He's also made some terrible plays and overcalls but not against me.
For example he limps with Aces in the small blind then:

6 people see the flop of 2 5 9

He checks, UTG+1 bets 4, a few folds button makes it 24, he c/r 100 straight, UTG+1 pushes for 400 total, Button calls and he overcalls the two all ins (both had sets) so I really don't know if it just that hes happened to have nothing when I have a hand.

Maybe he just better than u... maybe u dont "beat the hell out of this game"... ur lying to ur self... he just a better player than u and u should expect that, and ur not as good as u think u are... u should give him some credit for making u think he's the "fish" and paying him off... just a thought.

Yea me too, Lags can appear horrible at times but they probably have just adapted your style as well. Sounds like you are more concered with beating him than winning money, if that is your priority it sounds like you are being rather ego driven in your quest. This is a very bad mentality to have.

Why don't you just stop playing him ? I know players who torture me like I avoid like the plague which is not that hard to do considering all of the games out there. Change your screen name, hide yourself from search etc...

If you were playing limit I would say that this is the bad side at variance, but at this level and uber lag can be an effective method of play.

However I still make a great deal of money when I play at the same table as him so avoiding his tables doesnt seem to make much sense while avoiding tangling him might. However I would like any tips on how to beat this guys.

I'm at a table right now with a total fish.

his stats are, after 100 hands, 87/0.

So far tonight he has busted me on AA (K10 hits runner, runner), KK (gutshot straight), a flopped set (turned flush), a flopped FH (rivered better FH with 95o) and a flopped two pair.

It's just variance.

I'm only annoyed that he just left the table.
