Default Another sanity check 5/10

5/10 6 max

The small blind is a decent player. I havent seen him get out of line. I have seen him threebet all in with a draw on flop so I dont think thats what he has.
Earlier I opened to $35 on button, he made it $100 and I folded.
The big blind is a donkey.

If I called his flop threebet I would have $650 left. I folded. Bad or standard?

I think this is a good fold, I can't say that I'd fold it everytime though. But good lay down.

well mabye if I had a read that the guy was a rock, but still, he is labeled as agressive. He could easily just have an overpair here and figures you are raising on a draw. Only against the weakest of weaks would I drop this. Even vs a straight, you still have ~35% equity if you stick it in on the flop.

This could be T9. I like to push here, even if he has a straight I can always suckout.

I only occasionally play on party, mostly play a 500nl live, with 5/10 blinds.
Is raising to only 35 standard online in a 5/10 structure. Seems to me the pf raise shb 50+.
Second, you only have to call 300 to win 785. I would go all in here and if he flopped a straigt you still have 10 outs twice to win and clearly have odds to go.
I would push after his raise. You can't give up so quick. What do you think he put you on??? And you said he doesn't get out of line, well who calls raises with QJ??? Not me.
So do you think he has a bigger set?? Just curious???

Let's assume he has the straight every time. If you push (not necessarily optimal) EV= .35(650+785)-.65(950)= -115
So if he has the straight, moving in is -EV, but not by so much. IF he will call all-in with a hand like top two,
EV= .8(650+785)-.2(950)= 958. And you've also go nice EV v combo draw, because of the $ in the pot. It's close, but I'm inclined to push.

edited to fix incorrect math!

really bad

push every time and expect many worse hands to call, suckout otherwise.
