Default St. Louis Casinos

I've played ameristar and its 3/6 was so loose it was a joke (I counted...one guy saw the flop 17 times straight; three hands later there was a split pot on a 3-7 straight because 2 guys had called a bet with 3,7 before the flop came 4-5-6)
My question is...what is everyone's opinion on the best place to play in the greater ST.louis area?

17 straight hands is not really even close to as loose as ameristar gets. I've seen people there see every flop. Ameristar or Harrah's are the two best places to play by far.

Well its good to know it just wasn't my presence at the table that encouraged their play

Thanks for the response. I figured they were likely the two best. I've got some friends that play at the president...their SNGs at least...i've never much cared for that place and have never played poker there.

How long of a wait should I expect at 10:00 or so on this Sat. night?

i personally think that harrah's is a lot looser than ameristar, plus the food is better and there are more tables/less wait on average...

I prefer Harrah's as well. It doesn't take as long to get into games and I think the employees and managers are a lot more polite. The 3/6 games generally seem similar all over the city to me. But that's just been my personal experience and I haven't played live in 6 months or so.

I refuse to play on the President. That damn boat is going to sink any day now. That and the poker room manager who used to be a boxer is a total [censored].

Ameristar wait list for 3/6 at 10pm is going to be ridiculously long.

I don't like that guy at all. Anytime I've seen someone have a differeing opinion on ANYTHING, he gets rude in a hurry.

I like Leroy. It's high comedy watching some drunken fratboy try to "explain things" to him.

Leroy doesn't start things. He just ends them.
