Default Conclusion to my Party Poker career

First off, this is a pretty pointless post, so stop reading.

So...a while back party poker had a pretty major meltdown and nobody could get on the server from all parts of the country. I'm normally a live player and only play casually online. This disconnection caused me to lose my entry fee to a tournament and I complained to them about it. After many, many emails, I finally got to the point where I cashed out my remaining money and took it over to UB for the time being.

For all those that think that Party pays personal attention to every email, I offer you the following. This is the response to the final email that I sent to them. I found this quite humorous, and if you didn't, please keep it to yourself...

Me to Party:
"Take my $[tourny amount], find the president of your company, and shove it up his ass. You're never getting another red cent from me. God damn thieves."

Party to me:
"Thank you for contacting us. We do understand how you feel but regret to inform you that we will not be able
to issue a refund in this case. We once again checked and see that you did not play at this tournament but once you register you will be posting blinds and as you were disconnected the system will post the blinds and will knock you out of the tournament once you do not have chips."

I can't help but think of them saying this (and this was probably the 10th email that was basically a carbon copy that I recieved from them regarding this issue) in the 'Office Space' boss' voice. Anywho, sorry to waste your time...

Party's support has never been a strong point. As I see it, the hassles are worth it considering the type of players they draw.

Just curious -- did you trying calling them? I rarely get anywhere emailing customer support, but they're usually more accomodating over the phone.

One day recently the servers at Party kept crashing, causing 7! of the tournaments I was playing in to "burn out". I sent them an email, telling them what happened and they returned all of my entry fees before the end of the day.

that is crappy of them. Here is one for UB.
Once I entered a 100 +9 tourney on there, and there was a huge overlay of like 2k when the tourney was supposed to start, so they pushed back the start up for like half an hour until more pople joined it.
I e-mailed and said that was crappy can i get some bonus dollars and they said they had "technical difficulties" and i said " well dont lie to me, its not that big of a deal, just dont lie."

Haha. I can definitely hear Bill Lumberg's voice from Office Space reading that email. Hilarious.
