Tax Question

Do poker sites report your winnings at all? Basically, if you have an account that isn`t under your name, is that ok? As long as you pay taxes on your money, does it matter if it was won under someone elses name?

because all online poker sites operate out of the usa, you are not going to receive a 1099. however, if "someone" else is audited, they will have some explaining to do along with taxes and penalties.
