Default 20/40 on a boat draw

B&M 20/40, and I'm new to the table but it appears that it's playing normally, which is to say it seemed soft for a 20/40. Two known good players, and one who is more at my skill level (could be better). Rest are unknown to me.

Preflop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the CO
UTG+1 calls, EMP raises, I three-bet, the BB makes it four. UTG+1 thinks for a while then calls, EMP and I both call.

(16SB) Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
BB checks, UTG+1 bets quickly, EMP calls, I call, BB raises, UTG+1 folds, EMP calls, I call.

(23SB) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [ Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ]
BB opens, EMP raises, I cold-call, BB folds.

(33SB) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [ 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ]
EMP checks, I bet, EMP raises, I three-bet, EMP calls.

This was one of those hands where right up until I got check-raised on the river I felt like I was playing with my cards face up, and I just felt shaky about some of my decisions.

i would have raised the flop. given that you didn't, once bb check-raises, i would have 3-bet the flop.

turn and river look fine.

I go apeshit on the flop and don't stop raising. I probably have the best hand and have shitloads of outs if I don't.

RAISE RAISE RAISE RAISE RAISE.

I'll continue the unanimity -- raise and keep raising on the flop.

You guys haven't given any kind of argument for why raising the flop is the best play. Specifically, why is it better than waiting to raise the turn if no spade comes off?
