I think you had the right idea against the wrong player.
From your description of SB, you need to raise and then quickly run over and hit him in the head with a pipe. And he STILL gets his chips on the table before losing consciousness. If he dies, it's probably in his will to call your turn and river bets.

Nice post! Agree.

I still like this way of playing it but I think I check this turn with the intention of showing down my 8 or spiking an A -- and hey, why not bluff-raise the river if the guy you've read for a flush draw takes a stab?

SB is highly unlikely to fold this turn unless he has maybe 55.

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

“My name is mike l. and I’m a chip spewer.”

It seems the harder the players are to control, the more you feel you need to control them. Really, man, you’re going to have to correctly fold a lot of sets on the river to make up for kind of crazyassed sh… wait a minute, you were really the guy with the pocket T’s, right? You got me again, you son of a gun.

Yeah, I am calling BS on this one also. I don't buy the preflop action for a second.

Preflop: Ok, nice mixup I guess

Flop: This might be the easiest fold ever. You're not beating both of them and may be up against some very strong hands. It's just not worth 3-betting here with no pair. I doubt you win this hand here or on the turn pretty much ever.

Mike-

I think this whole entire hand is awful. Sorry for being harsh, but Jesus Christ.

You don't know mike very well.

PS: It looks like it's intervention time, mike. I'll be down soon for dinner and to smack you upside your dome.

Mike makes up his lost bets on hands like this because it makes him get action on hands like this
