I had a bad session at a home game last night. I ended up walking with 150% of my buy in, but fatigue and poor reads cost me big in the last 15 min. I worked hard to build my stacks all night, and I could have walked with 300%.

I've done it many times over the years (but I've been playing since LBJ was in the Whitehouse. I'm old). YMMV.
