Default When should I have folded these flushes?

These hands happen just after another but on different tables, might be noticed in my passive play in the second hand. Is there anytime when I can lay down these hands on these boards (no pair flopped)? Should I've folded the second hand to the 3-bet on turn?

i dont fold hand 1 but reluctantly call down.

in hand two, i think you can defintiely fold on the river after teh board pairs and mp3 wakes up again.

Thanks, didn't think it would be correct to fold very often, in fact I think folding the first hand would even be a big misstake since I probably will be ahead a lot more then every 10th time on the river. The second river cold call is probably worse.

FYI: both hands were beaten by higher flushes, which made me write the post in the first place.

Fold these both on the turn, it's obvious you're beaten. And even if you're not beaten, the board's going to pair around 58% of the time and you get boated out.

I've got a 562-hand database. I've had a set 33 times, and I've boated 19 times. That should be all the reasoning required, easy fold.

Brazilio, you realize your sample size isn't near adequate to answer this problem right?

However, I have a 5000 hand database, and my sets have boated about 54% of the time. So in this case brazilio happens to be right.
