Default Did I play this too weakly?

I've had this situation come up a couple of times in the last couple of days and I'm not really sure if my line is correct or if I should play it more aggressively on the turn/river.

Villain in this hand was playing half his hands and had only raised pf 2/3 times in 50 hands. Aggression factor of around 1.2.

When he raised the flop I put him on a strong Q, but the flop cap confused me somewhat so I went into call down mode.

Any thoughts?

I think it's fine. If villian was a bit more aggresive, I would have gotten in a raise on the turn.

For someone that raises so little preflop, an aggresively played AQ isn't out of the question. I wouldn't be too shocked to see AA or KK, with villian limping in pre-flop so that he doesn't just steal the blinds.

Regardless, you want to see a showdown.

These situations are difficult. However, I think I would try once more on the turn with a CR.

It seems pretty likely that Villain has a good hand but 2 pair is VERY good in 6 max. You are behind to Q7 or Q5 as well as 77 and 55. QQ is possible of course. However, a good Q might do this as well as a limped KK or AA

I would CR the turn. If I am 3 bet, on a good day, I can fold against this player without concern. However, I rarely have days that good . So if I am behind, I will lose 2 extra BB most of the time. However, I expect I will win an extra BB often enough to compensate.
