Default ($22) JJ in MP

I do usually raise here preflop, but for some obscure reason i decided not to. What do i do on the turn after he calls my flop reraise and the board pairs? I'm thinking bet, question is do i push or bet less?

Pretty early on in the tourney but i would have to assume jacks are good here. my guess is a drawing hand or tens with an average kicker but with some people early in a 22 he could have called with 5. i think i try and bet and fold to a reraise. if villian calls the turn bet and checks the river i think i would check the river as well. not worth risking anymore chips at this point. not sure if this is correct thinking. im interested to hear what some of the regulars have to say.

The 5 doesn't scare me too much. I'm putting debating putting in another 150-200 or just pushing. I think I just push.

That's almost the same response I was going to give, I would pot this, or almost pot it. He's got a flush draw or a mediocre T, and the outside chance of a 5.

If I get raised on the turn I should fold it, but I'm weak and would probably lose my stack here. If he calls the turn I check/call the river. I may fold if he pushes the river, but I'd be pot committed anyway so....

So you want me to bet almost half my stack and then fold to a push. That sounds pretty bad imo.

I'd put him on a diamond draw instead to the 5. I think he bet the 30 hoping to prevent a bigger bet, called your raise then checked the turn when the blank hit.

I push the turn. I think this line gets action from both 10s and flush draws and minimizes risk.

I don't think you need to push. 2/3's is fine and hopefully he'll call with his draw.

Push it to give him the option of putting all his money in now with his T or with his flush draw that he can get away when the flush doesn't hit on the river.
If he folds, it's still a decent pot.

Thanks for the advice. I figured he would probably call me with a ten and a good kicker or an overpair and a flushdraw. These i thought were his most likely holdings. As for the result, i pushed. Turns out villain did indeed not have one five. He had two and i lost to quads
