5/10 stats question...Went to SD vs Won $ @ SD...and a hot chick!

A friend of mine is having some trouble at the 5/10 game after being a winning player for about 6 months. I looked at this 8k most recent hands (what, that's not enough?) and his Went to showdown is something weak like 25%, but his Won $ @ SD is something weak like 40%. Does that make sense? My little brain tried to figure out what it means (besides the fact that more hands are needed).

-low went to SD means he's folding winners
-low won $ at showdown means he is taking too many losers all the way?

Is that right? FOlding too many winners and taking too many losers all the way? That doesn't even make sense. Is there anything else that can be read out of these numbers or is the sample size so small it's worthless....

it means he is running atrociously bad. have him at his winrate with aa, kk, qq etc. i have had 10k stretches losing with aa before and it really destroys your bottomline.
