Default Re: logic flawed? NL limp or raise

It might be one of your favorite situations, but i guarantee you're losing money on it. Paying a ton of money to see a flop with a hand of secondary strength just isnt profitable in the long run. To be honest, unless the blinds were pretty big, id probably muck 67 if it was folded around to me on the button. If the blinds were large, I might try to take them down with a pot sized bet.

Clearly the biggest problem with this post and all the replies is people thinking they're correct without knowing any details about the game and other players.

Calling a raise with a suited connector isn't always a case of being "less unprofitable" than the alternatives. In fact, there are certain players/situations that make calling a raise in position with a hand like 76s become one of my favorite situations in NLHE. There'a also times that it makes me want to hurl.

I'd guarantee you that I'm not, and I also guarantee you I never said one thing about "paying a ton of money" to see the flop.

The profitability of the situation relies on a bunch of factors that aren't really present: that's the main point I was trying to make.
