I was representing Aces. If I fail to three-bet on fourth street, the high hand should know I don't have them and can play accordingly. If the low hand were something like 54, I would probably be too skeered to three-bet, Aces or no, but 27o isn't a terribly scary high board. 27o was the bring-in, so he didn't necessarily have to have a strong low draw. If I can get the high hand out, I'll be around even money with some dead money in there. And of course, I can always catch. After dinking around with some different scenarios on twodimes, I think my play was probably somewhat less than brilliant, but if I had played it straightforwardly, we would have nothing to discuss.

I know the feeling. How do I use greenage's hand converter? If I knew I could post a pretty amusing hand I played yesterday.

Go to greenage's profile. Click on one of the links there. Should be relatively self-explanatory from there, but if you have problems, you can PM greenage.

More or less what I thought.

So you think an argument could be made for keeping the other doink in the hand instead of isolating?

You can make arguments for doing a lot of things differently than I did. Leaving the King in would have prevented me from taking the high with my Eights, though.

B Mando guessed correctly. The other guy had a worse low and I scooped. I run good.

I like it all, and glad to hear you scooped. I guess the only part of the hand that is really debatble is your three-bet on fourth. Other than that it looks pretty self explainitory. Looks like your aggressive three-bet ended up making the best high hand muck......gotta love that.

I actually wound up blowing back what I won on that table earlier. I had a couple of tough hands, one in particular where I had an Ace-high flush on sixth and made a 75 on the end and lost to a completely hidden full house and a wheel. That guy sure didn't play like he was rolled-up. Anyway, I'm doing pretty well now. I think I'm hooked.

I can’t even chat with you because I don’t have enough money on the site. This is a side of you that I haven’t really seen before. Way to go!

I get to play card dead $1/$2 in the mean time.
