Default Somewhat boring JJ, HU

Party Poker 5.00/10.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(10 handed)</font> link

Villain is unknown/too few hands to get something out of

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: (5.40 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Turn: (3.70 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

River: (7.70 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.70 BB.

Should i be calling these types of hands down or can i drop them on the turn? I dont really see what hands im beating but i cant really figure out what he might have that beats me. I would expect a raise on the flop with something like KQ KJ KT, and a reraise preflop if he held AK.

On the turn, the board does now have some semibluff-raise potential with hands like AQo and 55, but I think Villain does probably have a king.

He's not necessarily going to raise hands like KQ on the flop. A lot of players will call and try to trap instead.

If I had KQ, I would have folded to your preflop raise. But if I misclicked and called preflop instead, I would have just called your flop bet, figuring I was way ahead or way behind, I didn't know which, and the pot was kind of small.

My plan at that point would have been to call again on the turn and then either call or raise on the river. But when the wheel draw appeared I would think about raising the turn instead, since you could now have seven outs if you were firing with ace-high, and I'd want to charge you extra to draw.
