Default I like big bucks and I cannot lie

My opponent is one of my favorite LAGs (62.83/23.6/1.02 over 339 hands). I chased him down to a 20/40 table, and then the following hand came up.

Party 20/40 (9-handed)
Everyone folds to me in the SB, I raise with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and my buddy calls.

Flop (2 players, 4 SB): 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, he calls.

Turn (2 players, 3 BB): Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he caps, I call.

River (2 players, 11 BB): A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

What should I do?

I'd bet-call.

Being that he's one of your favorite LAGs, you should know him a lot better than we do and since there isn't any other opponents to consider here, whatever your read is should go. Not all 63/24/1 LAGs are the same obviously. In general though I'd bet and call a raise.

Given that this guy would play any two pair (or maybe even Q9!) exactly the same way, it seemed like a pretty easy betcall situation. I bet, he called, showed me Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and MHIG.

You guys don't think this is getting a bit too fancy? He's a horrible player and all, but even horrible players sometimes check behind when there's a one-gapper straight on the board. I'm also rather uncomfortable with putting two bets into a large pot heads up on the river and then not even getting to see a showdown.

i think bet-call is a lot better than checkraise fold. By leading on the river, you could still get a fold but you are only putting in two bets with a showdown as opposed to two bets with a fold
