RITTER88 folds. Por_Supuesto folds. VcH1610 folds. I_TRANSFER_U folds. ron13ccd calls [100]. fishosaurus folds. soupie folds. MD_JD calls [50]. AAABLE checks. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 5d, 9c, 6s ] 1) What's my line? 2) Assuming I plan to check raise all in (or check-call an all in), what if it checks through and the turn brings an offsuit Jack? What's my line now? I personally tried to checkraise the flop, figuring the BB would push with most pieces of the board (since he's short) and LP would fire if checked to a good bit of the time. It didn't check through, but if it had I would have bet 300 on a Jx turn and shut down if called or raised. And the forum says.... Kings |

Re: A little T9o hand
You are outthinking yourself wildly here. Bet 200 or so. There is not really anything for you to assume that if you check, its going to get bet. If you check, the most likely scenarios are:
1) It gets checked through, and the turn leaves you either with almost certainly the best hand but no chance of action or with a scary overcard that freezes you from betting, OR 2) Someone behind you bets 200-300, and you checkraise jam, having little to no idea if that player behind you has your beaten or not. If he does have you beat, you will be called and lose. If you does not, he will almost certainly fold. Just bet out and give yourself a chance to fold if you get jammed in on. |
