I watched the WSOP last week and saw Jennifer Harmon's nut boat get taken down by an inside straight flush on the river.

I knew immediately the WSOP is rigged.

Honestly, if you can't win at it, don't knock it. Most B&M players think online is rigged, otherwise why would they still be at the B&M?

What I really enjoyed about that link was that he first claimed that those who think online poker is rigged do so without empirical evidence then goes on to claim "Over tens of thousands of hands analyzed by hundreds of people, high card holds up as often as it should, top pair holds up as often as it should, two pair holds up as often as it should, etc. There’s a simple and easy way to test your accusation, use hand histories! The numbers will either prove or disprove your accusations very simply." without actually pointing us towards where we could find this mountain of empirical evidence done by hundreds of players. I know why he doesn't point us towards it: it doesn't exist.

I don't belive online poker is rigged but I certainly don't believe anyone has empirically proved it is fair or random. The furthest we have gotten is that we have shown that the starting hand distribution seems to be random over a large sample.

It does. You just have to look for it.

Examples:

Jim E analyses Party Board cards

Steve Brecher analyses Stars all in situations

PokerStat author tests his software on his own 125k hands (very nice read)

The bottom link shows not only starting hands, but analyses the hands made on the flop, and the hands they should then go on to have at the river and so on.
