I would call this with the huge pot, and fold the turn unimproved to any bet. the 4c is a tricky issue, as is a clean 4 or a 7 with a lot of action, but for that I just have to play poker.

I would have considered folding the flop the first time around. reverse implied odds big time.

I'm calling and re-evaluating on the turn.

also I am not thrilled about the call preflop, but I will not comment on it as I believe it's not the interesting decision in the hand.

Preflop is close, one more limper and I think the limp is fine, make it 75s and I think it is fine. 74s is pushing it, but if you think you have a nice edge on your opponents, then it's ok.

On the flop, I like the initial call and when the action comes back to you, my gut reaction was that you have to call again now that you're getting ~10-1, closing the action with a hand that might be best.

My gut plan was to see what the turn brings and be folding most of the time. But when I looked at the numbers, there's a reasonable chance you are behind and if the BB (or anyone else) has a draw, at least some of your outs are going to be tainted.

This is one of those hands where it's tough to put you on an exact number of outs but if we were to reduce your 5 outs to say 3.5, then you wouldn't be getting the proper pot odds to continue.

I also think your reverse implied odds are greater than your implied odds on this hand so there's only more bad news there.

So after looking a little closer and now going against my gut, I think hero has a flop fold here.

Interesting hand...

Luke

Well it should be mentioned though. That's a little too low, and too gappy to call after only 2 limpers. Yes, I said gappy.
