Button is passive, so when he 3-bets the turn, he means business. I think he is surely valuebetting this river. It sure doesn't look like either of you guys have a flush draw, so I don't see why he would be scared when it hits.

I would. It certainly looks like Button has a very strong hand so I see him betting the river most of the time. That way you can trap SB, too.

guys will chicken out a lot when that flush card hits, but it really looks like button either has a set or top 2 here. Sets and top 2 usually bet. I think a checkraise will work enough to be profitable

hi krishan, i would bet it unless i think the button is a solid player. most players arent solid even if they are aggro. i like your bet as a standard.

I bet this river cause i have seen those kind of players chicken out very frequently when the flush comes. I also believe that value betting is unknown to them..

You played the whole hand fine. A passive player will usually check any flush river after significant turn action, even if he has 2 pair or a set.
