Only time I've ever heard of Scotch eggs is here on 2+2. Never seen them on any menu either.

I never heard of scotch eggs either, but I just googled them and they look awesome!

Couldn't you just drop them in the left over juice of an empty pickle jar?

The recipe says you can eat 'em cold. I'd pass on that one. Could be good hot though. A quarter pound of sausage per egg sounds extremely rich and kind of gall-bladder boggling. I think I'd max at two of these, maybe one.
