Default raise now or raise later

Do we like? This is not my usual line. I will give my thoughts later.

big blind is a 56/23/2.29 (Agro, good hand reader, lots of semibluffing)
button is a 57/15/.96 (A calling station, but could still read hands and wasn't a complete donk postflop like his preflop stats might indicate.)

preflop:

two folds, button limps, hero raises with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], big blind calls as well as small blind.

flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

hero bets, big blind calls, button calls

turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

hero bets, big bind raises, button cold calls, hero calls

river: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

hero checks, big blind bets, button calls, hero raises (planning on making a crying call of a three-bet)...

Default Re: raise now or raise later

I think you get more value over the long run from a turn 3-bet.
