Default PL turn play

Villan is on button with $21.55 (No reads but haven't seen him do anything to out of line in last 50 hands.)
Hero is in sb with $70.97

All fold to villan who calls $.25
Hero raises pot to $1.40 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Pot has $3.60 for flop of J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero leads for $3.60 villan calls

Pot has $10.45 and the turn is 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

What is hero's action?

If you're going to call a bet, then lead. Seems like there should be some fold equity here, although the flop call is suspicious. Your hand is decent, only dead to a boat at this point. I'd tend to lead for the pot.

I check called a pot size bet. Is that the worst action I can take on this turn card?

I'd say so, you basically forfeited any fold equity a bare Jack might have had. I prefer a check call here when you have a strong hand and you'd like to induce a bluff.
