Default Something that you guys might not be doing

Checking out the PStars games while the PP situation whilst waiting on the PP situation to resolve.

Opponents play reasonably well, probably something like 30/10/1.8 or so.

Make that A into a K, and I'd be much more willing to consider not hating it.

i think i probably do it too often. small pot and a good chance of being behind or the dreaded reverse implied odds. (i just reread that section of sshe today)

i think the bet is ok, i just usually take it too far when i encounter some resistance.

Maybe if you weren't such a nit you would win money at poker?

edit again- I'd be less likely to make the play if it were a K instead of an A.

The key is knowing how far to take it. Adding this play to your game might not be that important in terms of BB/100. Knowing, however, about hand ranges and applying opponents' actions to those hand ranges and then formlating the correct play is very important.

I can see shooting into a pot like this occasionally. Do you have an idea what MP and Button typically limp in with?

If either player is the Ace anything type of limper, then shooting is probably just going to get a passive player to call down. On the opposite end of the spectrum: if both players are relatively tight, you may be able to take the pot down.

The Ace, King, and suited nature of the board makes me want to avoid making a bunch of possible mistakes later in the hand (a.k.a. spewing). Doing this habitually can't be profitable against any two limpers. Definitely have an idea what these guys like to limp with; I can understand they probably don't have great hands. Maybe MP has a low to mid PP that he's willing to muck on a scary board but not willing to raise with preflop.

check/fold the turn if called here? i think how coordinated the board is makes this dangerous.
