Default $55: Is this guy obviously slowplaying?

First hand of $55 tourney. Anything I should have done differently? I felt that his cold call on the flop was suspicious so I just gave up.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter

SB (t1000)
Hero (t1000)
UTG (t1000)
UTG+1 (t1000)
UTG+2 (t1000)
MP1 (t1000)
MP2 (t1000)
MP3 (t1000)
CO (t1000)
Button (t1000)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t15, 1 fold, MP1 calls t15, 3 folds, Button calls t15, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: (t67.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, Button bets t55, Hero raises to t110, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls t110, Button folds.

Turn: (t342.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t150, MP1 raises to t350, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t842.50

Not sure!
I've made this play a lot of times. This is a very good and sophisticated type of bluff.
People always get scared of that type of play.

Thought, I would fold too! He could have the 6 or mabey a bigger pair. (for some reason, some people like to slowplay AA or KK)

No matter what, if he had the 6 he would go allin on the river.

It certainly would be a very sophisticated bluff. To make this play he would have to assume

1) I was paying attention enough to see him cold call the raise on the flop
2) I noticed his smallish raise on the Turn
3) that I was capable of laying down a hand with a Jack
4) that I don't have a 6 myself

Given all those factors I discounted the bluff and assumed he was legit.

I'm going with slowplaying. This would be a great bluff, but during the first hand MP1 has absolutely no read on you.

How is betting the flop calling a raise, raising the turn, considered slowplaying?

I would fold after being raised on the turn. In all honesty once you are cold called I immediately would feel like there are good chances Im behind.

True, maybe I shouldn't have even bet the turn.

I agree that he is playing this like he has a six. But what are his likely holdings? The only hands I can see possibly containing a 6 after limping MP are A6s, 67s, 56s. All of these would be pretty loose, no?

Could he possibly be playing 88, 99, TT this way? I think it is unlikely, because he would be more inclined to re-raise the flop than waiting for the turn.

If calling guaranteed a showdown then I would call, however I probably fold this.

Any comments on this possible holdings?
