Default Was This A Good or Bad Gigabet-Wannabe Play?

No major table reads, just got moved to this new table. $2 Tournament. 1200 started. 80 are left. I'm about 35thish and chips and confident I'm one of the Top 3 best players left in the tournament. I figured calling this bet doesn't really hurt my position too much, and it's a cheap shot to double up and knock out two guys. If I miss, I still feel good about my recovery chances. That in mind, what do you think of this play? Be honestly brutal if you must.

I don't think gig type plays apply to MTTs. They're mostly for image, in HIGHER buyins, and with somewhat better cards than the 2nd nut low. You had no erason to be in this hand. If you had raised on a steal with 92 or something it might be different, but this is just retarded.

Wow.

What the hell.

Even with 3:1 odds against two players desperate to move all in?

sorry, but I don't think 34 offsuit is better than a 3 to 1 dog against 2 players, one who most definitly has an overpair.

Out of curiosity how do you come up with his line??

Do you have notes on all 80 some odd players left? Have you played with all of them this tourney. Have you won this tourney a few times against this same field.

I can't see how you honestly think you are the best of 80 player left.

That being said how often do you think that 43x is suppossed to win vs. 2 all ins?

I think its a mistake to be soo.... cocky as to think you can play any two cards just because you think you are the best player left and can survive if you miss. Which by the way you will 80% of the time.
