"Can't answer the question without knowing button..."

Don't know why he is important but he was a businessman wearing a nice suit, who was generally weak-tight and easy to read.

Sorry, I meant BB(mixed up from where it says button calls right above)

Anyways, If you don't have a read on him, I just call and use my position.

Is it just me or is everyone overvaluing this draw? Put the villain on a range of hands then reevaluate.

With a checkraise, hero is definitely behind. I don't mean to be 'weak', but its very possible villain is drawing to 9 outs... or worse, Villain could have the nutflush draw.

I definitely don't agree with a push unless you think villain has a good chance of folding.

what does villan have? is he capable of folding it? You are about 50/50 vs 78 but would still prefer to win it right there. The only reason I dont push here is if I think he has a set.

He probbaly does not have a set
Push time.

I could be wrong but

With villan being in the big blind and 4 spades already accounted for I would devalue the chance he has the nut flush draw. Plus if the flush hits hero is getting stacked anyway. 7 something looks most likely to me especially with the looseness of most casino games.

I really doubted that he had a set also since I thought most people would slowplay and smooth call. (You guessed it perfectly joker) So I pushed and he called me with 76(how bad was his call?). Turn was the the beautiful A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and I took down the pot. I was a 52% favorite on the flop.

Who smoothcalls with a set with 2 cards to a flush on the board? If I had a set there, I'm playing it fast getting all the money in while I'm ahead.

That being said... the villain sounds terrible. Hard to imagine butting your whole stack on a pair of 7s with very little chance of getting much better.

Wow. Checkraising with 67 on the flop is bad enough, but calling an all in is pretty atrocious. Live games are great. I agree about playing a set fast here. There are alot of cards on this board that can really kill your action. I'm putting pressure on my opponents with a set here.
