Perez hit a triple off the wall that most CF's would get. Then Werth hit a no-doubter to make it 2-1 LA.

He's much better than I expected, wish the Sox could have kept him. But for some reason he hated the Sox mgmt team and I'm convinced there was no way he was going to re-sign.

Default I Jinxed Him

I was at Commerce yesterday and saw on the big screen that he had a no-hitter going. But I couldn't, from my seat, tell the inning. So I called my son who was at the game. He told me there was one out in the 8th and how exciting it was. We hung up and then . . . boom, boom. Triple, Home Run.

Sorry Pedro.

He's a great pitcher, still, but he's also still a jerk. The Red Sox treated him badly? I remember when he signed with the Sox he said he was embarrassed to tell his family about his contract, it was so much money. And they brought him in to pitch in game 7 of the pennant clinching game when he had no business pitching.

He should be in the HOF, but he's a spoiled brat.
