Default My First Time...(low content)

I know 10/20 isn't considered mid/high, but I thought this was funny, and felt a need to share.

So i'm at my local cardroom waiting for a 20/40 seat, and I viololate one of my rules (only play in one limit) and I take an open seat in a 10/20 game. I know all the players, and this hand comes up after about 1 hour at the table.

BB is semi-weak/tight post flop, loose-passive preflop.

MP1 is very ABC, but is capable of free card plays, semi flop bets/raises, etc.

So, anyway, i'm in the SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP1 open limps. folded to me. At this point i'm pretty sure that MP1's hand is total trash. I look left, BB's coming, whether I raise or not. I call. He checks. 3 to the flop.

K-J-9 no hearts.

I lead. BB calls. SB Raises. I figure i'd like to be heads up, and i'm pretty sure there's no king that beats me that she's limping with first in. My initial read is something like QJ, looking for a free card.

I 3 bet. BB folds. MP1 caps.

I fold.

The look on her face...it was priceless. She rolled QTo, with a frown.
