Default WLLH 3rd edition

Has got a sng section. To quote Lee Jones

[ QUOTE ]
i consider the sng section to be groundbreaking. To my knowledge there's nothing else like it in print. I am persuaded that playing sngs can be as profitable as cash games, if not more so, and the new edition of WLLH tells you how to extract those profits

[/ QUOTE ]

I read his sng articles in cardplayer ages ago and didn't think they were that good. Maybe Lee's been reading this forum. I hope not.

If you mean by not good, he just reinterated basic stuff.

Hope he doesnt reveal that pushing with 72 offsuit is a good thing!

I remember when i just started giving SNG's a try i read an old column from him about the early stages of SNG's where he said something like: "I believe it's correct to play very very tight in the early stages. Only AA or KK, maybe QQ or AK."

That one sure cost me quite some money

Thanks. I wasn't going to buy it anyway. His writings have never impressed me. His recent article in cardplayer could have been better summarized in one sentence "when value betting, bet enough so that your opponent would be making a mistake to call."
