Default 10/20 acey duecy, big laydown

Big blind is a 40/22/1.22, he is very agro HU and willing to raise draws and air. I know him well and he knows me well.

4 folds hero is in the small blind with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] raises and the big blind calls.

flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, big blind raises, hero three bets, big blind calls.

turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero bets, big blind calls.

river: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero bets, big blind raises, hero folds.

Do we like or do we need to be calling the river here.

You get 10-1 or something, yes?
Against someone who's a little too aggro, and especially if you've been making moves on eachother, i think you need to call that.

I really don't know what I am ahead of though. The only hand that I can beat is KJ KT, which he might have raised me with since he thought that I didn't have an ace. But I really doubt it and I put him on QJ.

If he didnt think you had an Ace then K9 KQ KJ are all options. Backdoor flush is a possibility but against such an aggressive opponent I think a call is in order because he's more than capable of making a play.

Next time you might want to raise with a better Ace against this type of opponent that'll give you headaches hu with position on you. I dont like the steal attempt.

Way way too narrow a range. I'd include any ace whose kicker just got counterfiet who decides to raise because some people will fold half the pot to him on the river.

I do agree with pretty much what everyone had to say. This is not the type of opponent to make a big laydwon on the river against. I really doubt he has an ace since I believe he would have raised me on the turn, but a call is still probably in order. How dow we like my flop and turn play?
