why call the turn? [/ QUOTE ] Thats why I am posting it. I am so turn between raising, calling, and folding the turn. The guy was a super agro. Edited to show the extent of his super agroness. |

Re: 77 between the lines
If he's super aggro and check/called the flop, I think the turn is a clear fold. It looks like he was hoping BB would come along on the flop but, once its down to the two of you, he no longer has a reason to slowplay.

Re: 77 between the lines
Well, if he's aggro enough you can call down I guess, totally read dependent, but if you call the turn I think you should commit to calling a river card like the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Re: 77 between the lines
if he has air or draw on the turn a large percentage of the time, I can see a raise but against most I fold.
I definitely don't think he is betting hte turn there with a made hand that is lower than yours trying to get value like 55 or 66. |

Against some players, calling the turn and folding the river is OK but a super-aggressive player isn't telling you anything by betting twice. |

Re: 77 between the lines
Check and call a reasonable bet on the river, rest looks fine to me.
