Default Pokertracker-Stud/anything similar

Hey Guys,

Since this is the best forum on 2+2, devoted to the best form of poker, it sucks that to my knowledge the equivilent of Pokertracker hasn't been made for Stud.

A while ago I emailed the creator of Pokertracker pleading with him to create it, but apparently it has not been made.

Is anyone here a programmer and have they thought of filling the void by creating a program like this?

It would be cool to be able to track our rake and see any leaks in our game using a program like pokertracker.

Cheers.

Yeah. I also emailled the Poker Tracker guy about this, and he said has no plans to do a stud version. It would be amazingly useful to have in terms of actually finding leaks, but I think you'd need to have a good stud player designing it because the game is different from flop games like Omaha and hold'em. Anyone here with the stud and computer skills required could make some cash here...

Well you're right there is some serious cash to be made here, and I hope jon_1van is working on that is as detailed as Pokertracker.

I don't know about you guys, but if a "Pokertracker-like" program was made for Stud I'd gladly pay $110 US for it. (double the price of Pokertracker)

Do the math and if you sold it to 50 people that's $5500 US, and 50 sales would be quite easily obtainable.

And that's only covering Stud High, if you made one to cover both Stud Hi and Lo you could easily get 100 sales and probably more as the popularity of Stud/8 goes from strength to strength.

So any top notch programmers reading this who love Stud, there's big $$$ to be had here, as I know everyone on this forum wouldn't think twice about parting with the $110 for it if it's as detailed as Pokertracker.

The last time I asked (about 4 days ago) Pat said that although he and Mike have talked about a PTStud it won't appear for quite a while. Pat is concentrating on version 3 of PTHoldem. I didn't get the impression, though, that there were "no plans to do a stud version."
