KQ and spades will call here far more than they should, and you can't tell if your out-of-place bet slowed them down with a good hand or confused them into calling with a mediocre one. Reads would help.
I would dump to the flop absent a read from MP. He's not the last person acting and he's betting into a field of 5 players, and really the best you're playing for is half the pot out of position. You have to let the small ones go... Garland |
