Default My buddy is a whiny bitch

A friend sent out an email about some deal he got, how his aunt owns some Louis Vuitton or Prada outlet or something or other. Apparently, if we mention his name, we get a huge deal on Vuitton, Gucci, etc. At the end, he jokes "i don't have much use for this stuff now that I'm moving to a third world country to volunteer but I always accept gifts" or something to that effect.

His girlfriend's name is Amanda*, and IMO, she's got him by the balls.

I responded. By accident I chose "reply to all" and not "reply to sender", but i don't think that's an issue.

"Just because Amanda wears the pants doesn't mean you have to carry a purse.

Later,
Gamblor"

*names have been changed to protect the innocent.

He is not amused. Was I out of line?

If he's a buddy of yours, then no, you're not out of line. As a man, your job is to point out to your friends when they're whipped, because sometimes they're too close to notice it.

One of my best friends in college is in that situation now, and we give him sh1t about it all the time. I look at it as a duty.

Great line by the way, I bet others will agree with you.

lol. your friend has nothing to be mad about. He must be really uptight about that topic. I thought it was humorous but not meant to be mean.
