Too Much
Live 1-2 NL
Button: Hero $400 MP3 : Villian 1 $450 Tight, slightly aggresive MP1 : Villian 2 $150 Slightly Tight, aggresive Hero KK MP1 limps, MP3 raises to $15, Hero calls, MP1 calls Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($48) MP1 check, MP3 bets $20, Hero calls, MP1 calls Turn 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($108) MP1 check, MP3 check, Hero bets $100 What do you think? Clearly this is an obvious fold for a flush draw, but I was trying to represent the flush/OESD draw with the huge overbet, hoping to get called by a made hand. The only hand I'm getting action from on the river is a hand that beats me. Was this too much $50 or $75 better? |

Re: Too Much
mmm i dont like the flat call on the flop pot is 50, he bet even less than 1/2 pot, other player could easily be drawing
raise it up on the flop turn is fine |

Am I missing something here? For now, you have the nuts. Maybe I push here, but full pot bet is best, I think. dave. |

Re: Too Much
I would re-raise this pre-flop and raise on the flop. With Kings I want to get my money in pre-flop. Calling on the flop represents a draw, which you don't want to do. If the drawing card hits, you won't get action from anyone that didn't make a big hand with the drawing card.
