Default Finally moving to the 22s

Feels good to be out of the 11s after 500 games there. I now have a healthy bankroll to play the 22s. Only played a few of them in the last couple of days but some observations about the 22s vs the 11s...

<ul type="square">[*]Still many, many bad players in the 22s
[*]More players are left in the later levels
[*]I am finding I have more fold equity in the 22s vs the 11s (obviously not as much as in higher buy ins but more than the 11s forsure)
Will keep you updated on how the 22s go for me! Thanks for all the help, it is a great forum!

Best of luck @ the 22s, man. I hope I'll be able to join you soon.

You hit the nail on the head. I've only logged about 400 22s and I can say that the things you noted are pretty much the only things that stand out. Preparing to move out of them pretty soon, but after Irieguy's post, I'm dreading my move to the 33s...

Glad to hear it. After a meager 85 tourneys played at the 22s, I'm loving it. As I said in my post, my FE seems to be much higher, which really helps keep the variance low. Even my first run (where I wasn't winning), just felt a lot better. And now that I'm winning, it really feels a lot better.

thanks for the report. I'm doing a lot of tinkering with my game down here at the 11s at the moment, but its nice to know that the 22s aren't very hard.

To echo previous (and future) replys, good luck.
Bacause of the differences you noted w.r.t. the 11s, you may find that you can achieve BETTER results at the 22s. Or, if not, perhaps the same general ROI. DYSW?

Pass Jail and go home. . . to the $33s. If you can beat the $11s you'll beat the $33s and its for 50% more money... But the longer your stay out of my pond, the better we'll both be.

Not sure if this is on or off topic. I play UB, and found the 22's to be at least slightly harder than the 11's. On party, I play 2 table games and the 22's were significantly harder than the 11's too.

My observations: Typically only 1 or 2 people eliminate themselves through terrible play, as opposed to 3 or 4 in typical $11 play. Also, as you mentioned, people are less likely to call the push, even later on. I'm working on figuring out how to get maximum value from my better hands.

Best of luck in the $22's

I have only seen the good side of the 11s. I think my suckouts have been more than the suckouts I have suffered, maybe thats normal against tight-weak players ITM.
