Default 9/27 Baseball

White Sox @ Detroit

Play: White Sox (McCarthy) -140

The play tonight will be on the White Sox. McCarty has been lights out as a rookie in his last 3 starts. Look for him to earn a solid position in the starting rotation tonight. Only allowing 9 hits in his last three starts and 1 run. ERA of .40 and WHIP of .529. Robertson on the other hand has been awful, giving up 12Er in less than 6 innings!!!! Even though the White Sox have been stumbling down the stretch this is a good match-up for the White Sox to keep the lead in the AL Central. White Sox also play well on the road and hit very well VS. LHP. Look for the Tiger to be wearing some White Sox's by the end of this game.

I honestly don't see any value in this game. Check Robertson's last home start against the Sox-- pretty decent. If I had to choose a side, I'd take the Tigers just because I think fading the CHW will be profitable in this last week.

What about the under at 8.5? I figuire McCarthy only gives up 2-3 on a bad night, and the Sox are lucky to get 3.

I've been riding the White Sox under for the last two series (been 8-ish every game vs. Minnesota and Detroit), and I plan to continue till they get to Cleveland or somebody figures out that maybe they should move the line.
