I suggest you take a break and resume play next Thursday.

Alternately, you could start up again sooner. If so, I would suggest not planning on playing any long sessions and playing only one or two tables at a time. Only play when your feeling sharp, clear, and undistracted.

None of this will make the cards you get any better, but it might make you feel better, and therefore play better.

Yes yes yes, you have been on a losing steak but are not 'on' one. The cards don't remember, and if they do they don't have the strength to manipulate when they come up ..err.. or if they do they just plain don't care. It will all break even , bla bla bla.

However the damage is done. Yes, take a break, play lower limits, wait it out ... until your are confident and don't think that you need to take a break or play lower limits or wait it out.

You shouldn't need to play this sort of game but you do need to.

One trick is to use the extra time to accomplish something useful, like cleaning under the bed or writing a letter to Mom.

Well to answer several questions at once. One I own just about every poker book worth reading. Im even starting to buy ones that have horrible reviews to see what i dont like. When i say i running cold, it isnt so much my cards im recieving, as much as people sucking out on me. I know people say that im not betting enough letting them catch, well this is not the case. I agree this streak has to end. Simple mathamatics will tell you how yoyy cant lose being a 4-1 5-1 favoirte going to the river infintly. I appreciate your words. Also my hit streak was 5K in hands and one brillaint weekend at AC playing 1-2Nl where i made over 1800 in about 24 hours. One thing i have learned is be aware of your leaks. While i won 1800 in Poker. I blew about 1K in BJ. Like many other players I have a little too much "gamble" in me.

KEEP PLAYING. there isn't a real need to change sites. maybe just move to the NL 10 handed tables, rather than six.

Could it be that A-rod is a choke artist and can't come up with big plays when the game is on the line?

Please read the first few chapters from a statistics textbook, and then have Lady Luck blow on your dice over your left shoulder while you touch your brow with the right hand. Roll.

If I start getting gunshy after a beat then I actively force myself to be aggressive, it seems to be a natural reaction for a person to become more passive after a beat so you have to actively force yourself not to do this.
