My girlfriend has a clean computer that I am planning on using to get set up with Party skins....will using a restore point from before I install the skins software work so I can get signed up with all the Party skins?

Tis sound like a smart move you could try. If it doesnt work you could also delete the Party folder and try again.

Theoretically, I think it would work. You could be the pioneer of a new trick.

The only thing is, when you restore, you lose everything, so after each restore, you will have to go back and reinstall each skin... plus whatever other programs or files. Probably not worth the hassle, unless you didnt have any accounts planned to do them all at once.....

i think the idea may be a stroke of genius - when you have a mind like his, it's simple, i guess

presumably he won't be playing on his girlfriend's computer so he won't need to reinstall the skins, and if he does them one after another there won't be any other programmes or files that require reinstalling

i would say it is definitely worth the minor hassle if it works

please let us know, RK

It definitely worked for me before.

I registered my PokerNow and Multipoker accounts on my wife's computer using this trick early this month.

I posted this trick as a reply to some thread before, but seems no one interested.

yeah...i'm not so sure this is such a stroke of genius. But I don't want to poo-poo too much on your compliment.

I was trying to do this a couple weeks ago but I think my last restore is only from 3 months ago and I can't restore to a point earlier than that.

When I get on a different computer I might get a couple sign-ups in via this method though.

I walked my Dad through signing me up for my last skin....so when I get on his computer during my next visit I can just do a couple system restores....and then should be able to restore it right back to the present day so that he doesn't lose anything.
