Empire & Party

I've been on Empire for almost a year now and decided to set up a Party account to get access to some of the special tournaments. I know that technically players aren't supposed to play on both.

When I made a deposit on Party I went through some authentication call process where I had to call a number and verify certain information. That's all fine... at the end of the phone call, however, the rep said I had an account on Empire and asked me to verify the username. He obviously had my information so I followed his instructions.

Is this pretty typical, and is it anything to worry about? Am I at risk for both my accounts being shut down, and if so should I start withdrawing and keeping my bankroll to a working minimum?
