Default Flop overpair w 88 at Party 3/6

Villain in this hand was unknown as she had just joined the table. Too aggressive, too passive, ok? Oh, does anyone hate the open limp?

All comments appreciated,

You are certainly a LAG by reading both hands you posted.

I'm almost certainly just calling on this flop. Capping is a bit silly now isn't it?

Limping preflop is fine IMO

I would hesitate between just calling the flop or raising. Why the cap?

I don't think the limp is bad at all.

I beg to differ on your flop raise, I actually liked it. Now when it got 3-bet I would probably just call that. But from the looks of it, BB seemed to play it like a flush draw after the flop. But that might have been because of your flop cap. He could have a baby flush in this spot, but with the board pairing on the turn it might looked like you boated up. I play the turn and the river the same way, you didn't butcher this one too bad.
