Default 22: battle of the blinds, Idiot straight

Opponent is solid but tight-weak on bubble. Who folds, who raises turn for free show down and folds to 3-bet, etc.

I need help on this one, if he is weak tight, do you think he is trying to get a free card?

I probably fold this along the way, can someone explain the thinking behind the streets on this one?

He's tight weak on the bubble but raises the turn for a free showdown? How does that work?

I raise the flop for more and fold the turn, if he really is tight-weak.

Hmm, tough hand. I am prone to play the same. If you see the hand in it's totality it doesn't look too good though.

However, if I split it into the streets, I like the reraise on the flop.

I am not too sure about the call on the turn. Hmm you have the Idiot straight, so it could be that you are putting in 250 to pull back your 400 or you are putting in 250 to add to your losses or you call down a bluff. A bluff is not very likely. I dunno.

On the river he puts in another raise. I think you are beat here. But it is tough to lay down. But you probably should.

I think you have to tip your hat to villain's play here. He really made it tough on all post flop streets.

No, no, I was asking who would fold, who would raise the flop (i.e. the people on 2+2), who would raise the turn...

Man, I really can't read today. Yeah, against a tight opponent here I raise the flop for more and fold the turn if he leads into me again. If he checks the turn I would call a river bet.

No way do I fold this river. He will not have a straight here a lot of the time.

The reason I didn't fold the river is pretty simple....if I fold I have 18BB. If I call I have 15BB...not much of a difference at this blind structure. If I chop or win though I have 24-30BB....this is a huge difference and allows me to accumulate a lot more chips on the bubble through aggressive play. This will be compounded by the presence of two very short stacks.

It's pretty close though I think...
