Default for the shorties

2/4 6max

I raise KQs UTG and get an unknown caller from late position and a LAG BB. 67J flop w/ one of my suit. BB bets...my play?
-fold: if he has a pair i'm drawing to 6 outs at most, and have a player left to act
-call: w/ my BDSD and BDFD w/ overs I can call this and i call to encourage the late player to call as well
-raise: my weak draws combined with my overs means it's a raise to clean up outs and take a free card if I need it.

He most likely doesn't fold a pair, yet if he's on a draw and I can show down UI i'll win.

I think it's either call or fold, right?

Can he fold a hand like bottom pair? If so, I raise flop and bet turn a significant portion of the time.

Me, too, but I am in no position to give advice as I'm currently donating at 2/4.

i've seen him show down bottom pair, but i've also seen him bet J high on the streets. If I knew he COULD fold it might be an easy raise. But if I don't know that I feel like I'm spewing to middle pair way to often. Plus getting 3bet or donked doesn't do much for me.

I raise this hand, mainly to get it HU vs. LAG.

I have several things going for me, as well.

1) Likely that I'll get a free showdown.
2) If not a free showdown, at least a free look at the river.
3) I have 6 outs to top pair, which are quite likely all good.
4) I have 1.5 outs to a backdoor flush.
5) I have a bit less than 1.5 outs to a backdoor straight.
6) I need to up my aggression factor.

I like a raise. LAG can have all sorts of hands when he leads. He might even just think that you're likely to have missed. We prefer to be HU since we're going to be ahead of him fairly often and usually have pair and bd draw outs when behind. We might even fold a pair behind us when K-high is good, which would be a coup.

We also sometimes get a free river or showdown (depending on how we play the turn). If it gets HU and he just calls our raise, I plan to take a free card on the turn if the first half of one of my draws comes in and fire again UI and when we pair.

If 3-bet on the flop I call and count outs on the turn.
