Rough double suckout or bad push PF?
Don't know if there's much I could have done with this hand, but it's been bugging me all week. Last weekend played some live 2/5 NL ($200 max). Good, fairly aggressive table overall, & after about 2-3 hours I was slightly ahead. Then...
In MP with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], I raise to $20 (standard for this table). Folded around to button, who reraises to $65. I put him on a middle pocket pair. Then BB goes all-in for her last 90. I call (should I have pushed here?), and button then goes all-in (about $225, slightly less than me). I call. Button shows 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]; BB has J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. The result, however, was painful: Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (1st gut punch) River: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2nd gut punch for side pot) So...other than possibly pushing after BB went all-in, did I do the right thing here? Thanks. TF |
