Good lay down or too weak-tight?
Note: BisonBison appears to be down.

Sadly, the one stack that could seriously damage mine calls me, as do a few others. The turn is the A, and its checked to the big stack, who bets most of the pot. I have no read on this player, but I've been burned badly lately by a combination of bad beats, ruthless aggressionn, and the odd loose call. So four-part question... 1. Was my check too weak, or was I reasonable in check-folding to A5? 2. Should I have folded to the big stacks's bet, or should I have raised for information. 3. Is betting nearly all of the pot typically a tell of strength or a tell of weakness? I lean towards the latter and thought of acting accordingly, but I'd rather some input. 4. Is BisonBison really down, or is there another place I can find it? |

Re: Good lay down or too weak-tight?
Lead out for the pot on the turn. Bet half the pot on the river. Fold if he raises the pot back at you on either street.
I would not check that turn, you are inducing a semi-bluff that you cannot counter. I might have tried for the c/r on the flop here. |

I figured that with three callers on my flop bet, A5 was very possible. |
