Re: Stars $650.00 Hand for Analysis
Go archive that beautiful Sredni post. That will really take care of the entire Shania deal.
Shania get more important the deeper the stacks. There really isnt a whole lot of Shania (but definitely some, ie range of hands on a resteal) with less than 20bb. |

I Call the flop for similar reasons as stated above. [/ QUOTE ] ok, say you call and the turn is a brick, and the villain bets again. what's the action? |

Re: Stars $650.00 Hand for Analysis
yeah, i should just put up that link. reading that was perhaps my first aha moment on 2+2.
I think 25-40BBs is pretty key in terms of understanding shania and building a stack (at least online, as its probaly closer to 40-60BBs live) |

Re: Stars $650.00 Hand for Analysis
Well this depends obviously on a few factors.
1) Can he fire 2 bullets with nothing here? 2) Would he push real hard with a hand here you beat (TT? Lower pair? Ax where X is a paired card?)? 3) Do you feel like making an FU call? 4) Can he only bet here with a better hand? It's not a crime to call the flop and fold the turn. There is a lot of information you can gain (fairly cheeply in this case) by just calling the flop. |

Re: FOLD FLOP

fold the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Fold to a $600 bet, w/ a concealed hand of JJ w/ nothing higher than a 9 on board? He has to throw out a continuation bet if he has AK. If that’s the case why would I call pre-flop? Might as well fold to 1st raise pre-flop if I will be that weak tight. |
