Default $22: flopped top set but flush draw on board

I read recently somewhere (on this forum) that you are throwing chips away if you play afraid of a flush draw flop against just one other person when you have flopped a monster. Should I have checked behind here? Minimum raised? Or just push and get it over with, hoping villain calls (the option I chose)?

PartyPoker, Big Blind is t50 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t2280)
UTG+1 (t405)
Hero (t685)
Button (t825)
SB (t3165)
BB (t640)

Preflop: Hero is in CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls t50, UTG+1 calls t50, <font color="red">Hero raises t200</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>, <font color="gray">BB folds</font>, UTG calls t150, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>

Flop: (t525) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

PS I would have pushed preflop.

Thanks for that. I think that's a leak in my game, not pushing hands like this in this spot.

I just lookat whats in the pot - 175 - my stack - 685 - the fact nobody has taken an interest in this hand (two limpers which means nothing, especially at a $22) and the fact I have jacks, which is bloody good.

That's just me though

You have really helped my game, tigerite, and I intend to pay you back when I meet you at the $109s.
