a couple things:

I know its been a week, but part of me feels like this could still be a hangover from the beating Duke put on them, in what was built up as the biggest game of the early season, last weekend. This is their first game since then.

Also, notice Louisville is getting crushed right now too. There's a lot of parody in college basketball this year, and some of the highly rated teams are showing the ability to bomb a game magnificently early on.

Given these developments, there's a few things I'm thinking:

1. Too many of these teams are too young, and teams with senior leadership and elite coaching are going to win out this season.

2. I really believe Duke, UConn, Nova, and Illinois are a step above everybody else, and it should be one of those 4 (hopefully Duke) that wins the championship this year.

They should have come out even more focused. Especially at home. Hangover, schmangover. All I know is that a team capable of getting humiliated back-to-back like this is not remotely a NC contender.

I think it's Duke, Nova, and everyone else. I saw Duke at 2.5:1 and Nova at 9:1 recently. I think I'm going to go big on Nova and bet enough on Duke that I profit from them too and cover the Nova loss.

I agree that this is a weakish year overall.

Yeah, I think this team needs a nice road trip to Columbus to get on track.

I doubt their hoops team would fare as well as their football team did.
